As a healing professional, you are well aware of the strong link between addiction and trauma disorders. Studies show that 50 percent--and up to 96 percent--of substance abusers seeking treatment have experienced a major traumatic event. Integrated treatment for such complex co-occurring conditions is strongly recommended, particularly wholly integrated, highly individualized treatment. This means delivering services in a way that avoids retraumatization while facilitating full participation in treatment, an area of particular expertise here at Hazelden's Springbrook campus in Oregon. Two CEs available for $20 registration fee.
